We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Team Leader for the Kangaroo Management Program to undertake quality performance and ensuring the outputs are effectively coordinated to deliver the statewide commercial Kangaroo Management Program (KMP).
Lead a team to ensure quality performance and outputs are effectively coordinated to deliver the statewide commercial Kangaroo Management Program (KMP).
This role is considered a key leadership role implementing DCCEEW business outcomes and legislative requirements for the KMP and delivery against the Commonwealth approved wildlife trade management plan.
The role plays a crucial part in delivery of annual planning reporting and financial management and represents the Department on a range of forums to influence and provide expert advice on operational activities ensuring consistency with government policy and legislative requirements.
About You
To be successful in the role you will have experience in the implementation of operational policies governance guidelines and compliance to ensure the organisational standards are met and the operational integrity and overall reputation of the organisation is maintained. Additionally you will also have experience in developing effective communication procedures and processes to ensure internal and external relationships are effectively managed as well providing leadership in managing WHS procedures staff and financial resources to consistently deliver against agreed performance and encourage and support team in career development opportunities.
