Job Description

Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Team Lead for our Project Technicians team. The Project Technicians team is responsible for worldwide onsite installation and commissioning of the container terminal automation projects.

As a Team Lead you will oversee a dedicated team driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring adherence to QA/QC and HSE standards. You will report directly to the Project Operations Manager.

Your responsibilities as Team Lead will include the following:

  • Lead and manage the Project Technicians team fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

  • Plan the interventions of the Project Technicians and subcontractors/partners in consultation with the PMO office

  • Daily followup of the Project Technicians and subcontractors/partners

  • Ensure compliance with the quality standards and HSE standards during the installation and commissioning

  • Collaboration with teams: Work alongside the project managers project department team leads and the PMO office to deliver the automation projects worldwide within planning budget scope and according to contractual quality and HSE standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Technician team focusing on efficiency and quality.

  • Drive continuous improvement towards other Camco Departments (other teams within the Project Department Production Department R&D Department HSE Department) focusing on efficiency and quality.

  • Maintain a backoffice role with sporadic travel worldwide (max. 25.

Profile

  • You preferably obtained a masters degree in Electromechanical Engineering Technology or a technical degree A2 electricity / electromechanics / industrial maintenance techniques or similar through experience.

  • You have 5 to 10 years of experience in worldwide electromechanical installations.

  • You have a strong technical understanding and extensive experience with electromechanical installations and networking (IT).

  • You speak fluently English and Dutch.

  • You have proficiency MS Office.

  • Familiarity with Camco inhouse products and automation processes is highly desirable.

  • You have excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • You have a handson and problemsolving attitude and you use a resultoriented approach to work.

  • You guarantee and oversee continuous improvement and quality.

  • You are willing to travel worldwide (max. 25

  • You are a strong organizer and you can plan your work independently.
