This role ensures legislative compliance financial oversight and efficient workflows through collaboration with VCE legislators and DMV stakeholders. The position supports DMVs strategic goals by optimizing plate production processes resolving issues and maintaining program integrity.
This role requires expertise in legislative compliance project management financial oversight and quality control. The Senior License Plate Program Specialist is responsible for planning forecasting production numbers and implementing new and redesigned license plates in Virginia. Success requires multitasking strategic thinking and sound judgment to resolve obstacles and develop viable solutions with a focus on accuracy to avoid production delays customer dissatisfaction or increased costs.
Strong analytical skills are essential to reconcile financial discrepancies interpret legislative requirements and manage workflows efficiently. The role also demands the ability to apply statistical controls and techniques while demonstrating sound judgment in selecting appropriate modes of communication to ensure operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications
* Knowledge of DMV programs legislative compliance and financial reporting.
* Strong analytical and project management skills.
* Effective communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
* Proficiency with DMV systems and production workflows.
* Ability to manage multiple programs and ensure compliance.
Additional Considerations
* Familiarity with license plate production processes and VCE agreements.
* Experience in legislative interpretation and program management.
* Skills in developing training resources for DMV staff.
