Job Summary:

The Personal Lines Marketing Specialist is integral in collaborating with sales and service teams to deliver optimal insurance solutions ensuring thorough market analysis timely quotations and proactive risk management. A specialized knowledge and experience in the field is necessary for this position. There will be a combination of independent work with occasional supervisory duties requiring strong analytical negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales and service teams on recommended markets

  • Gather additional information/supplemental applications to obtain quotations

  • Establish and recommend appropriate coverages on new submissions

  • Determine with sales and service teams the best placement and terms for renewing accounts

  • Followup with carriers so that new and renewal quotes are delivered on a timely basis

  • Negotiate to get the best coverage/pricing/addons available to a client

  • Provide technical support to sales; specifically in analyzing client needs

  • Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverages in coordination with sales

Requirements:

  • P & C License

  • Strong organizational skills ability to discern priority and initiative.

  • Computer skills specifically Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail is a must.

  • Knows and applies the principles of area of specialty to everyday situations.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma Associate Degree or higher preferred

  • Prior experience in the group health insurance industry preferred.

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $65000 $75000
