Job Description
Heres What You Need
High School Diploma or Equivalent
One 1 Year Rehab tech experience Preferred
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.
The ability to communicate and respond verbally and in writing to or for patients family members and staff members.
Experience in both computers and customer service are ideal
What You Will Do
The position is 8590 phone computer work scheduling patients greeting patients when they come to the outpatient clinic and cleaning equipment/changing linens after the patient leaves.
There is a lot of multitasking with frequent interruptions
Assists therapist in setup of all equipment necessary to perform assessments and treatments
Effectively assists in multiple areas of the department.
Reviews patient data and charts as requested
Organizes and maintains patient charts
Utilizes computer for messaging and necessary patient information
Assists with scheduling and phone duties
Helps maintain all educational material and department forms
Helps with faxing and copy needs of the department
Assists with data collection as requested.
Cleans and maintains equipment
Documents on the cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Maintains department stock items
Completes safety stocking and inventory records.
Participates in orientation and training of therapy technicians

Work location: Texas Health Southwest Ft. Worth 6100 Harris Parkway Fort Worth TX 76132
Therapy departments Physical Occupational & Speech Language Therapy Outpatient with some Inpatient acute care
Work hours: PRN: On an as needed basis Mainly MondayFriday weekdays between the hours of 6:00AM to 5:30PM.
