The Digital Account Executive generates digital advertising revenue by calling on established agencies developing new prospects and bringing solutions to local businesses with Nexstars full suite of digital products.
Nexstar Digital products include SEO Google Search CTV/OTT HULU Disney Peacock MAX Paramount Discovery YouTube TV Display Online Video Email Social YouTube Spotify FOX Sports NBC Sports The Weather Channel and all other O&O Nexstar web properties across the country.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospect qualify develop close and grow new digital advertising business.
Identify and prospect new clients while maintaining a healthy pipeline of potential leads.
Make inperson sales calls on existing and prospective clients.
Establish credible relationships with local businesses and their decision makers.
Conduct indepth needs analysis to understand each clients unique advertising goals.
Develop and present customized digital advertising solutions.
Maintain assigned accounts while developing new accounts.
Responsible for order entry contracts followup and collections.
Play a pivotal role in facilitating the creation of clients ads with our production team.
Other duties as assigned.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
Proficiency with computers telephones copiers scanners and modern office equipment.
Proficiency in MS Office products required.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
Selfmotivated goaloriented and a strong team player.
Detailoriented with problem solving and analytical skills.
Independent judgment is required to plan prioritize and organize diversified workload.
Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and ability to multitask.
Requires demonstrable knowledge of common digital platforms & ecosystems.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Advertising Mass Communications or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or proven workrelated experience.
Minimum one years experience in businesstobusiness sales preferably in digital marketing or the media field.
A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
High stresshigh energyenvironment with deadline pressures.
Some travel may be required onrare occasions.
