Role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will provide the drive experience andexpertise necessary to ensuresuccessful completion of control panels and automation assemblies toapproved designsat our manufacturing will assist incoordinating the labour resources parts and materials required for completion of assemblies and provide close supervisionto a team of fellow Panel Buildersand associated supporting operatives.
About You
Already an experiencedPanel Builderand supervisoryou will demonstrate broadcapabilities in control panel assembly testing and completion ofthe associated test/commissioningdocumentation as well as strong day to day supervisory skills developed through your time workingin a similar industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble test service and rectifya variety of electrical control panels and associated automationequipment
Determine and maintainefficient work procedures and techniques
Communicate and adopt safe systems of work (RAMS) and observe the requirements of any Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders
Engage in the determination of work rotas and assignment of tasks
Assess tasks for completeness and report any issues or variations
Complete control paneltest reports and job documentation
Ensure all tools and equipment in use are certified and/or calibrated
Maintain positive relationships with colleagues subcontractors and other third parties
Undertake specialist training as required and keep up to date with statutory and legislative requirements
Demonstrate and apply the principles of continuous improvement to achieve Best Practice
You will need
5 years experience of industrial control panel assembly
A comprehensive toolkit for completing assembly of control panels
Experience of working on own initiative
Excellent interpersonal ITand communication skills
To be a team player and customer focused
Qualifications and Licences
NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services Panel Wiring / Panel Builder orMechanical Manufacture Engineering (fitting and assembly)or equivalentApproved Apprenticeship in Panel Wiring /Panel Building(Required)
ECS Gold Card Wireman/Panel Builder(Desirable)
FLT/Counterbalance Truck Licence (Desirable)
SSSTS (Desirable)
