Job Summary/Description:
WSAZ is looking for an experienced digital content producer to join its team. The ideal candidate will create news content across all digital platforms and thrive under deadline pressure. We want someone who can work in a fastpaced highly competitive environment. This person must be an excellent writer possess strong leadership and organizational skills. The ideal candidate develops and enterprises stories daily and communicates well with coworkers and the community.
Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
Must possess strong communication skills both verbal and written
Required to write copy and edit video and post to WSAZ news and social media platforms
Coordinate live streams across multiple platforms
Create graphics
Interpret analytics and implement any changes needed
Promote content on social media through engaging posts
Monitor news sources to develop news content
Work with the news team on story selection writing and enterprise pieces
Must be able to develop an enterprise compelling stories that interest our viewers
Present information on and digital platforms immediately and as updates become available
Provide support to television producers
Qualifications/Requirements:
BA in Journalism or related field preferred
Must be able to work flexible days and hours
Ability to handle moderate to high stress and deadline pressure
