The Kuiper Electronic Supply Chain team is seeking a Sr Operations Program Manager to drive technical manufacturing and supply chain operations for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) destined for our satellites. The successful candidate will manage contract manufacturers endtoend production processes while maintaining a stringent focus on quality and delivery requirements.
Key job responsibilities
Manage contract manufacturers endtoend production process for assigned PCBAs
Ensure ontime delivery to meet Kuiper production rate requirements
Drive production planning and aligned with crossfunctional priorities
Measure Control and Improve capacity quality manufacturing rate/processes and delivery KPIs at contract manufacturers
Lead technical deep dives to resolve manufacturing blockers and constraints
Balance development and engineering needs to minimize production impacts
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics and reporting systems
A day in the life
As a Sr Operations Program Manager at Kuiper youll start your day reviewing upcoming deliveries blockers and constraints production metrics and WIP status across your assigned contract manufacturers. Youll participate in daily production meetings to address update and escalate immediate issues and coordinate with crossfunctional teams pathtogreen to resolve shipments. Throughout the day youll analyze production performance data to identify bottlenecks conduct deepdive investigations into constraints and work with suppliers to implement process improvements to ensure production current and future rates and deliveries are met and sustainable.
You might spend time in technical reviews with engineering teams to evaluate new design requirements impact analysis/tradeoffs or travel to supplier sites for handson problemsolving and capacity planning. Youll regularly present performance updates to leadership support Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs and QBRs) and collaborate with other program managers to optimize shared production resources. Youll help develop more junior team members through mentoring and modeling of effective practices. The role requires a balance of tactical and strategic thinking to ensure both daily delivery and longterm manufacturing capability needs are met.
5 years of technical product or program management experience
7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multimillion dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
