Were Looking for a Senior Designer to Join Our Creative Team.
Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for bold boundarypushing design EMJ is looking for a Senior Designer to bring stunning visuals to life across digital mediafrom social campaigns and animations to interactive articles and journals.
Youll collaborate closely with our Design Manager Creative Director and wider team working on everything from websites and emarketing to infographics and animated videos. Your creativity will shape engaging user experiences and elevate the EMJ brand across all touchpoints.

Who you are:
- Experienced Senior Designer with Killer Portfolio & Strong Digital Focus: You bring significant seniorlevel design experience with a portfolio showcasing exceptional digital work.
- Master of Adobe Suite with Animation Expertise: You have mastery of the Adobe Suite (especially After Effects and Premiere Pro) and strong animation skills are essential.
- Excellent Project Manager with a Keen Design Eye: You possess strong project management skills and a deep understanding of typography composition and colour.
- Inspiring Communicator & Brand Guardian with Social/Digital Expertise: You are a collaborative team player who can inspire others and effectively present ideas while ensuring brand consistency and you have experience designing specifically for social and digital media with a deep understanding of platform requirements.
- Bonus Skills: Experience in podcast editing interactive content design or publishing is a plus.
What youll do:
- Create Innovative Design Solutions: Develop cuttingedge design solutions for marketing campaigns internal presentations and more.
- Produce Diverse Visual Assets: Design flat graphics digital assets illustrations and engaging social media content.
- Pioneer Interactive Articles: Contribute to the development of our industryfirst interactive articles.
- Lead Creative Multimedia Projects: Lead animation and video content creation projects for the healthcare industry.
- Champion Brand Consistency: Act as a brand guardian ensuring all designs align with EMJ & AMJ brand guidelines.
- Manage Multiple Design Projects: Effectively handle and prioritise multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Drive Creative Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of design trends and share fresh visual ideas with the team.
- Collaborate with CrossFunctional Teams: Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure designs align with business goals.
Key Information
- Salary: Negotiable
- Hours: 8.30am 5pm MonFri
- Working pattern: Up to 2 days flexibility to work from home (FT in office during probation)
- Location: Our buzzing London/Moorgate office
We offer a hybrid work environment balancing office and remote work. To support your training and development during your initial threemonth probation this period will be fully officebased five days a week. Following this we anticipate a regular office presence of at least three days a week to maintain collaboration and team connection.

Your CV will be reviewed by the Recruitment team. If successful we will be in touch to arrange a video call. Following this there will be a 2stage interview process one focused on competencies and one on the EMJ values.
We have a great team that enables us to do this because we hire team members based on values rather than skills. We can train raw skills but we cant change your values.
