Job Description
Paralegal
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a successful plaintiff injury firm with over 15 Attorneys over 1000 fivestart Google reviews and over 30 years in business helping the injury. We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to support one attorney in managing 3050 active litigation cases (max 60. This role is not trialfocused though occasional trial support may be required (approx. once per year).
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Manage all aspects of up to 60 litigation matters with support from a pod leader and staff.
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates and deadlines.
- Draft file and serve legal documents in compliance with court rules.
- Handle written discovery subpoenas and document collection.
- Organize and summarize documents medical records and discovery materials.
- Maintain and track litigation calendars deadlines and hearings.
- Coordinate depositions mediations interpreters and expert communications.
- Assist with trial prep including binders exhibits and scheduling.
- Conduct basic legal research and draft correspondence and pleadings.
- Manage calls meetings and travel arrangements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 35 years of litigation case management experience preferably in personal injury law.
- Bachelors degree or paralegal certification preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in legal software efiling systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written verbal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of litigation procedures court rules and trial preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fastpaced environment.
- Teamoriented with the ability to work independently.
- Fluent in English & Spanish
