We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) to join our thriving state school in Rugby. This fulltime permanent role is open to both Early Career Teachers and experienced professionals and requires the ability to teach up to ALevel. As a Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) youll be expected to deliver engaging creative and technically strong lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5. Youll inspire students to explore the possibilities of textile design develop their practical skills and think critically about aesthetics materials and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
As a Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) you will:
Deliver inspiring lessons in Textiles across KS3KS5 including ALevel classes.
Support students in developing both traditional textile techniques and modern approaches.
Guide students through projectbased learning coursework and exam preparation.
Collaborate with a team of experienced Design and Technology Teachers (Textiles) to enhance the curriculum.
Maintain high standards of teaching and learning and contribute to departmental planning and development.
Engage with extracurricular activities such as fashion shows design clubs or competitions.

Hold QTS and a relevant degree in textiles fashion or a designrelated subject.

Have a strong grasp of textile materials processes and sustainability themes.
Can deliver engaging differentiated lessons that support high achievement.
Are teamoriented reflective and passionate about their role as a Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles).
