An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) to join a successful wellresourced secondary school in Worcestershire. This is a fulltime permanent position designed for a qualified teacher with a strong background in textiles education and the ability to teach up to ALevel.

Your Responsibilities
As an experienced Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) your role will include:
Delivering highquality textiles lessons across Key Stages 35 including GCSE and ALevel.
Developing and refining schemes of work focused on practical design skills sustainability and innovative textiles.
Supporting student progress through effective assessment feedback and targeted differentiation.
Contributing to extracurricular projects such as fashion shows design competitions and clubs.
Working closely with colleagues to ensure consistency creativity and ambition across the department.
Acting as a subject lead within your area of strength supporting less experienced Design and Technology Teachers (Textiles) when required.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking a Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) who:
Holds QTS and a relevant degree in Textiles Fashion or Design.
Has significant experience teaching textiles at secondary level including ALevel.
Can demonstrate a strong track record of successful student outcomes.
Is confident in leading engaging practical lessons that develop skills and creativity.
Works well as part of a team of Design and Technology Teachers (Textiles) and contributes positively to department life.
Is enthusiastic about supporting the next generation of textile designers and makers.
