Job Description
A passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher specialising in German is sought by a wellregarded Independent coeducational school in Barnet. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop a love for the German language and culture.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Languages Teacher lessons in German across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop students skills in speaking listening reading and writing in German.
- Assess and monitor student progress in German providing effective feedback to support their language acquisition.
- Contribute to the promotion of German language and culture within the school through extracurricular activities and cultural events.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in German.
- Demonstrated experience teaching German at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Native or nearnative fluency in German and a strong understanding of Germanspeaking cultures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of motivating students to learn a foreign language and appreciate cultural diversity.
