Job Description
Fulltime Position Title: SAP Financial Contract Accounting Architect Billing and Revenue Innovation Management Convergent Invoicing
Location: Hybrid; OnSite in Middletown Pennsylvania
Duration: 30 Month Project
Note: This position is hybrid with a minimum of one week every four to six weeks onsite; additional onsite as required by the project during key phases of the project. In addition to the Pennsylvania ePATCH background check the client requires a National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start.
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Financial Contract Accounting Architect with a strong background in SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management and Convergent Invoicing to add to our team assisting the Information Technology Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and leading the implementation of complex billing invoicing and financial accounting solutions for largescale Billing and Revenue Innovation Management projects ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture design and implementation of SAP Financial Contract Accounting and Convergent Invoicing solutions within Billing and Revenue Innovation Management projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable reliable SAP Financial Contract Accounting solutions.
- Design endtoend billing invoicing dunning and collections processes using Financial Contract Accounting and Convergent Invoicing components.
- Provide technical leadership for the integration of SAP Financial Contract Accounting with SAP Subscription Billing SAP Sales Order Management SAP Convergent Charging and external systems.
- Define data models process flows and integration touchpoints across the Billing and Revenue Innovation Management landscape.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and compliance standards in design and deployment.
- Drive system enhancements optimizations and upgrades in the Financial Contract Accounting and Billing and Revenue Innovation Management space.
- Lead workshops design sessions and architecture discussions with client teams and internal stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Financial Contract Accounting Convergent Invoicing and their integration points with Customer Relationship Management Sales and Distribution Convergent Charging and external applications.
- Mentor and guide consultants and developers on Financial Contract Accounting and Convergent Invoicing topics.
- Develop architectural artifacts including functional specifications technical designs integration diagrams and solution blueprints.
- Support presales activities by providing expertise in solution architecture and effort estimation when needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Systems Computer Science Finance or related field
- 10 Years: SAP experience
- 5 Years: SAP Financial Contract Accounting and Convergent Invoicing experience
- Deep understanding of SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management components: SAP Convergent Charging Convergent Invoicing Financial Contract Accounting Sales Order Management Subscription Billing and Revenue Accounting and Reporting
- Strong experience in configuring and customizing SAP Financial Contract Accounting processes (invoicing payments dunning collections interest calculation installment plans)
- Handson experience with integration of Financial Contract Accounting with SAP Convergent Charging and Sales Order Management
- Knowledge of eventbased revenue recognition (SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting) and Financial AccountingGeneral Ledger integration
- Experience in architecting solutions for industries like Telecom Utilities Media or HighTech is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of master data structures (business partner contract accounts etc. within SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred
- Expertise in SAP Financial Contract Accounting enhancements Business Application Programming Interfaces Business AddIns and user exits
- Ability to guide data migration conversion and interface strategies for Financial Contract Accounting data
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely
- SAP Certification in Financial Contract Accounting Billing and Revenue Innovation Management or S/4HANA
- Experience with SAP Cloud Integration for integration scenarios
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira Confluence)
- Knowledge of tax integrations (Vertex Avalara) within the Financial Contract Accounting environment
- Exposure to modern architecture styles such as Application Programming Interfacedriven integrations
