Ensure the company adheres to all statutory and regulatory requirements including:
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): Oversee environmental compliance at farms and mills located in Adidome and Akuse.
Ghana Fire Service: Ensure uptodate fire safety certifications for all premises.
Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT): Manage staff and worker contributions.
Food and Authority (FDA): Handle food product certification advertisement approvals and regulatory submissions.
Ghana Standards Authority (GSA): Coordinate the calibration and maintenance of weighbridges.
Ghana Immigration Service (GIS): Apply for and renew work permits for expatriates.
National Identification Authority (NIA): Process NonCitizen ID cards for expatriate team members.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with:
Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA)
Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI)
Ministry of Finance (MOF)
Ghana Revenue Authority (Customs Division)
Relevant embassies for visa and travel documentation
Coordinate the company s participation in trade fairs and exhibitions.
Work with MOFA GIPC AGI AfCFTA media houses and other stakeholders to enhance brand visibility.
Collaborate with clearing agents to ensure prompt customs clearance and delivery of goods to farms mills or warehouses.
Work with advertising agencies to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
Secure billboard placements and oversee brand communication efforts.
Finished goods distribution (e.g. rice deliveries to markets or warehouses)
Internal and regional logistics needs
Collect and assess quotations from vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Procure materials for various departments:
Farm: Inputs tools machinery parts
Mill: Spare parts packaging materials
Main Office: Office supplies vehicle parts and household items
Maintain a database for:
Compliance timelines (e.g. licenses permits)
Vendor and transporter contacts and rates
Implement a reminder system to flag expiring documents at least two months in advance.
Track procurement and department requests to ensure timely completion.
Carry out other administrative and operational tasks as assigned by management.
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Operations Management Agriculture or a related field (Master s degree is an advantage)
Minimum of 3 years experience in operations logistics compliance or a related role preferably within agribusiness or manufacturing
Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in Ghana
Excellent coordination organizational and multitasking skills
Proven ability to manage logistics procurement and crossfunctional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and database/operational tracking tools
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fastpaced environment
High level of integrity accountability and attention to detail
Strong problemsolving skills with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinking with the ability to plan execute and follow through on operational initiatives
