The Operations Director is responsible for managing the overall daily operations of the practice(s) as well as further advancing the operational standards and patient experience. They are responsible for setting standards and policies onsite and directly managing the operational team to those standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the administrative operations of multiple dental offices.
- Analyze business reports and create recommendations and actions to attain yearly budgetary goals; prioritize practice performance issues to ensure year over year revenue and profitability growth.
- Coach train and develop a team of office managers to meet and exceed daily office operations which include patient relations maintaining productive clinician schedules setting and meeting daily production goals and coaching training and developing officelevel employees.
- Coordinate a minimum of biweekly office visits to meet with office managers and doctors to address concerns challenges and obstacles.
- Work with the Clinical Director to help support Dentists in their growth and development by helping them set goals and address operational opportunities within their supported practice.
- Hire Office Managers and support them in the hiring for the individual offices. Work as acting Office Manager in times of open positions manager absences and other circumstances.
- Address escalated patient issues and concerns in a timely manner.

Qualifications :
Education Experience & Skills/Abilities
- BA Preferred
- 5 years of dental consulting/practice management experience
- Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Strong communication presentation and organizational skills written and oral
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
- People Management Skills ability to influence & deescalation skills
- Serviceorientation / customer success mentality and approach

Working Environment & Physical Requirements
Working conditions include those typically seen in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Position requires 50 weekly travel to supporting practices.
