Job Description

Due to continued growth our Skelmersdale site are now recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator on a full time permanent basis.

Salary: 13.96 per hour.

Working hours: MondayFriday 6am2pm 2pm10pm 7am3pm 3pm11pm 11am7pm rotating. 

As a Warehouse Administrator you will ensure that all goods in vehicles are booked tipped and monitored in a timely and effective manner as well as ensuring all administrative duties are carried out accurately.

Key Duties of a Warehouse Administrator:

  • Deal with incoming vehicles and despatching lorries.
  • Daily contact with customers / hauliers and drivers.
  • Main point of contact for incoming phone calls.
  • Fully utilise systems available i.e. Customers SAP systems effectively use the integrated management system (Vision) to plan and execute the day to day operation.
  • Customer service management. Liaise with internal and external customers to deliver highest levels of customer service on an ongoing basis.
  • Stock management with regards to customer and IPS stock accuracy inbound and outbound systems.
  • Customer Ways of Working and systems of work are adhered to and completed in a good time frame.
  • Ensure all health and safety instructions are carried out while carrying out your duties.
  • Ensure all stock on site is correct and accounted for on IPS and customer systems.

Qualifications :

  • IT literate with knowledge surrounding MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate internally and externally. 
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem solving analytical and organisational skills.
  • Previous admin/stock control experience.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and manage your own time effectively.
