Job Description
Overall Purpose of Job:
An emobility backend platform is an essential part of a charging infrastructure. An electric vehicle (EV) driver depends on a reliable and errorfree infrastructure and applications. Such a need can only be achieved by extensive and regular (automated) testing of all software components. As a result the EV driver is offered the most worryfree charging experience as possible. Therefore you make a significant contribution to ensuring the quality of one of the main contact points of an EV driver with our system.
Main tasks roles and responsibilities:
- As a Mobile Application Test Automation Expert you drive the test activities within an interdisciplinary agile software development team with the focus on mobile and payment applications.
- As an integrated part of an agile team you and your teammates are responsible for retaining our product and process quality by application of stateoftheart test methodologies.
- You have a focus on test automation and ensure that testing remains a highly integrated and effortless part of our daily work. You design implement and maintain automated tests for our backend and frontend system.
- You work together with developers business analysts and requirement engineers to understand functional and nonfunctional requirements you evaluate reported bugs and approve fixes.
- You have a deep knowledge of testing methodologies and can share that knowledge with other testers as well as train new colleagues.
- You will work with international colleagues in our scaled agile software development program using SAFe methodology and Scrum
Qualifications :
Experiences and requirements:
Education:
- Closed academical studies (ideally . Or . degree) in Computer Sciences/Business Informatics or similar education
Work experiences time/seniority/ sector:
- 3 years of professional experience as Test Automation Engineer
Technical/ IT knowledge:
- Experience with automating functional integration and regression tests of micro services web applications or web services.
- Indepth knowledge of testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Ideally experience with cross platform mobile application frameworks like capacitor.
- Experience with an industry standard test automation framework ideally Cypress or Selenium.
- Knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript and/or TypeScript) and databases (SQL and/or nonSQL).
- Having an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and ideally with the Agile Tester (CTFLAT) extension is an advantage
Language with level
- Fluent English
Mobility requirements
- As per need usually 24 weeks per year to Germany or similar

- Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
- Ideally experience in the EV charging business
