Job Description

Disclaimer: contractor role for longterm partnership.

This role aims to support the Regional business development team with analysis that helps with business planning by examining transactional data market trends finding out where there are shortfalls to targets and giving business insights that can improve and inform decisionmaking. The role will also take care of business operations and increasing team efficiency.

Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Area

  • Analyze cluster transactional data and prepare reports with recommendations on business development areas in respective countries.
  • Identify business needs and develop strategic/functional action plans driven by qualitative/quantitative analysis and market insights.
  • Perform pricing analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Orchestrate all processes related to planning and tracking business development initiatives in Caucasus.
  • Take lead in AOP process related to planning consolidation and alignment of inputs from all stakeholders.
  • Cooperate with Business Development Finance BPO and Controllership in development of management reporting tools:  preparation of technical specification regular communication with development team testing creation of trainings materials for various user groups and subsequent support of PMs in operational activities.
  • Cooperate with Finance Business Development Controllership and BPO teams to ensure the timely and accurate update to project files and reporting documents. 
  • Review monthly financial data produced by Finance department to ensure that information is accurate and work closely with Finance team to investigate any abnormalities.
  • Prepare required reports and dashboards to provide regional manager and business development teams with a clear picture of current business performance and progress towards targets.
  • Support adhoc analysis (e.g. deep dives into markets clients projects) to drive new sales efforts identify gaps to targets and provide business insights that can support and enhance decisionmaking. 
  • Review investment initiatives with relevant departments and ensure reallocation of funds where necessary.
  • Actively participate in modelling incentive agreements with clients
  • Coaching and educating business development teams on performance and financial related matters as well as effective use of MIS tools and information. To conduct training sessions on all available instruments upon request.
  • Collaborate where required with the Operations Controls team to facilitate a solid control environment.

Qualifications :

  • Strong analytical and business reporting skills.  Ability to develop complex business models and tailored reports.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and execute fast.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Selfmotivated can do attitude.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel Word & PowerPoint PowerBI and Tableau)
  • Negotiation skills leading to timely and acceptable resolutions.
  • Solid interpersonal skills working with crossfunctional teams.  Ability to work in highly diverse international environment and deal with complexity.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Development and preparation of executive level briefs.
  • Selfdirected and motivated.
  • Able to work with little management oversight.
  • Analytical in thought processes.

Required Experience & Skills Professional/Technical/Business

  • Minimum 5 years of continuous experience in strategy consulting business/data analysis reporting
  • Bachelors degree in business finance economics or related discipline
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/ or electronic payment schemes including products & services business systems and processes will be considered a plus
  • Interpersonally credible influential in their dealings and sensitive to a multicultural environment.
  • Strong selfmanagement skills including demonstrated drive and energy.
  • Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management including the ability to work effectively within CEMEA between regions and with Worldwide Services staff.
  • Proficient English and Russian speaker. Georgian native
