Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Core DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the infrastructure from the ground up ensuring seamless integration and robust performance. This role is crucial in enabling our development teams to deliver highquality software at a faster pace through automation and streamlining processes.
Role and Responsibilities:
Build and Maintain Infrastructure:
Architect and implement a highly scalable resilient and secure infrastructure.
Continuously improve the infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Develop and Manage CI/CD Pipelines:
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
Integrate automated testing and quality checks into the pipelines.
Automate Processes:
Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline operations.
Write and maintain scripts for automation of tasks and configuration management.
Ensure Security and Compliance:
Implement security best practices throughout the infrastructure.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Monitor and Optimize Performance:
Set up and manage monitoring tools to track system performance and availability.
Analyze performance metrics and optimize the infrastructure for better efficiency.
Provide Technical Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructurerelated issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other teams to address and resolve production issues.
Stay Current with Industry Trends:
Keep up to date with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices.
Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in the infrastructure.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree with 8 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 5 7 years of proven experience as a core DevOps Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud and onpremises.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Groovy Python Bash or Perl.
- Handson experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitHub GitLab CI or CircleCI.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK stack and Splunk.
- Solid understanding of networking Ingress Nginix Service mesh security and system administration.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
