As our Engineering Project Coordinator youll be at the heart of this transformation working closely with our Director of Engineering and ownership team to support the successful of the propertys major renovation and engineering projects. This is a project coordination role with a bigpicture impactperfect for someone with a background in architecture engineering or construction management who thrives in fastpaced environments and has a knack for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
What Youll Do:
- Keep Projects on Track: Monitor construction activities onsite and relay updates to the hotel team conduct walkthroughs flag issues early and serve as liaison between contractors and hotel operations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts asbuilts attic stock inspections and deficiencies. Youll be the goto person for everything from monthly leak reports to delivery coordination.
- Site Support & Scheduling: Oversee OutofOrder (OOO) rooms coordinate delivery of ownersupplied items and manage rooms for contractorsall while minimizing disruption to hotel operations.
- CrossFunctional Partnering: Collaborate with Engineering Revenue Procurement and Ownership (KingSett) to ensure alignment and seamless communication.
- Consultant & Contractor Support: Be the eyes and ears on the groundproviding photos field dimensions and existing site information to architects engineers and vendors as needed.
- Attend & Contribute to Key Meetings: Represent the hotel in project and ownership meetings; take minutes keep tech running and keep everyone in the loop.
Qualifications :
- 3 years of postgraduate experience in architecture engineering or a related field
- Experience coordinating largescale renovation or capital projects in an operational environment
- Proficiency in construction documentation and ability to interpret architectural mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work crossfunctionally between ownership consultants contractors and internal teams.
