Job Description
Device42 is the most comprehensive agentless discovery system for Hybrid IT available today. Device42 can continuously discover map and optimize infrastructure and applications across data centers and cloud providing accurate views of your IT ecosystem. Customers in more than 60 countries use these technical capabilities as they manage and modernize IT infrastructures and application landscapes and adopt DevOps practices.
As a Solutions Architect youll be a technical consultant working closely with potential Device42 customers to ensure the product aligns to their needs. Working side by side with sales youll serve as the technical and product expert articulating the best solutions for customers. This role requires you to be comfortable interacting with customers in addition to technological depth and awareness.
What Youll Do:
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert throughout the sales process.
- Own and manage various activities including technical presentations demonstrations and proof of concept projects.
- Build and increase Device42s relevance with customers by qualifying customers needs desired outcomes and benefits and positioning Device42 in context to it.
- Understand and evangelize Device42 its competitors value proposition and positioning to more effectively field advanced questions from customers and partners.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with the Customer Success Product and Engineering teams.
Qualifications :
- 5 years in a sales engineering role preferably with enterprise customers.
- The ability to effectively demonstrate unique value propositions based on individual customer needs.
- Strong communication critical thinking and problem skills with the ability to convey technical concepts into business value.
- Experience and understanding of cloud technologies cloud migration tools and data center technology strongly preferred.
- Understanding of threetier architecture and load balancing.
- Network and/or System administration knowledge or experience.
Additional Information :
The annual base salary range for this position is $135100 $168900 USD Variable Compensation
Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location experience jobrelated skills and level.
