The ideal candidate will be based near the NY metropolitan area as it is a key market within the territory. You will cover the New England states through the MidAtlantic states up to and including VA.
This position is part of a regional sales team and in the structured sales process of the Business Communications Business Unit according to the business tripod (end customer integrator consultant).
This position is responsible for proactively acquiring new target End Customers (e.g. Education Corporate etc.. You will be responsible for identifying project opportunities at end customers. You will create demand for projects as well as develop End Customer relationships. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding territory Opportunity Closed/Won targets and subregional sales objectives as well as assigned KPIs. You are responsible for increasing market share by performing the following responsibilities.
What You Will Do:
Establish yourself as our brand ambassador in your region.
Identify areas of potential business growth amongst an assortment of vertical markets.
Actively prospect for new customers.
Maintain proficiency in your technical understanding of ours and competitors solutions.
Present by product demonstration our product portfolio as the premium audio solution for meeting spaces and learning environments.
Cultivate develop and nurture short and longterm leads and sales opportunities.
Provide regular field reports market insights and revenue forecasts to management.
What You Will Bring:
Five or more years of experience in a customerfacing sales and/or engineering role.
A good technical knowledge of audio and conferencing solutions and the ability to deliver an excellent presentation.
Familiarity with the AV integration business.
The ability to travel up to 75 of the time.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other CRM software.
Ability to quickly build long lasting business relationships.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
Education
Job Requirements: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with QCS controls, Biamp, Audio DSP, Shure and Intelix. Great to have: AVPro Edge and Visionary Solutions for VoIP / switchers Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with AV equipment Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls are preferred.
