This position provides strategic direction and advice writing editing and content for print and electronic media for AbbVie advertising promotion and other communications. This includes product and indication launches sales collateral materials sales meetings convention exhibits direct to physician and other healthcare professionals direct to patient Managed Health Care programs videos web/multimedia internal communication programs which may including sales training incentive projects change management communications and internal and external corporate and csuite communications on an ad hoc basis. The primary goal of this position to provide impactful strategic materials at below market rates.

• Writing of pharma and medical materials
• Writing editing content generation for print and electronic media for AbbVie advertising promotion and other communications. This includes product and indication launches sales collateral materials sales meetings convention exhibits direct to physician and other healthcare professionals direct to patient Managed Health Care programs videos web/multimedia internal communication programs including sales training incentive projects on an ad hoc basis.
• Strategic direction and advice for elements described above
• Support commercial team with ad hoc support of other functions and corporate teams
• Develop content in collaboration with franchise and crossfunctional review processes (Medical Regulatory Legal etc.
• Work with multiple internal and external resources
• Generate consumer external facing creative content and concepting
• Collaborate with art directors and designers in the creation of materials

Qualifications :

• B.A./B.S/Business Communications or Advertising; or equivalent business experience within a these or related industries.
• Proven skills and experience in written communication.
• Proven skills and experience in developing advertising and promotional ideas concepts and campaigns
• Capacity to learn and apply applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products and the promotion of sales and marketing materials/samples and interactions with healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge and experience in translating complex information into successful communications aimed at various professional and patient target audiences.
• Advanced written verbal and presentation skills; project management skills; and organizational skills.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
