Job Description
Our client a major bank in New York City is looking for Project Manager consultant with experience in Capital Markets and Trade Life Cycle.
Fully remote needs to be /1hour of New York time zone
6 months initial contract with possible extensions or option to hire.
** Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in US NO H1 Visa support for this role
Rate: $6671 on W2 possible C2C as well.
Job Summary:We are seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning executing and finalizing projects according to milestones and timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with IT Teams and stakeholders.
- Develop fullscale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Identify and track issues related to the project.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver progress reports proposals requirements documentation and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management in the information technology sector.
- Expected 5 years of project management experiences
- Financial or banking experience
- Deep knowledge of a Trade LifeCycle
- Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- MS Project Jira Confluence
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
