PSI Environmental Systems a Waste Connections company is looking for asafety conscienceCDL A RollOff & Portable Restroom Driverto join our team inTwin Falls ID!

Full Time: Tuesday Saturday 6:30am Ending when the route is complete generally 811 hour day.

YearRound Work! No Seasonal Layoffs. Home Every Night.

Pay: $23.00/hour Higher rates available depending on experience.

Required: Class A CDL W/ Air Break Manual and Tanker Endorsement.

This positions schedule will be split on average 2 Days running a Portable Restroom route and 3 Days operating a CDL RollOff Truck.

Portable Restroom: Truck Drivers are responsible for driving a truck on specified routes to deliver and remove portable restrooms and mechanically collect waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. Daily work will involve heavy industrial lifting lifting waist high gripping with hands moving at a brisk consistent pace and occasional bending. This position will also be responsible for safely efficiently and courteously serving customers.

Roll Off Truck: Responsible for operating a Class A CDL Truck to safely deliver and remove containers from locations and transport solid wate to appropriate disposal sites. This position requires you to work independently in addition drivers are expected to deliver excellence incustomer serviceat all times. May be cross trained on other CDL Class Vehicles.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
  • Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids safety equipment and tires.
  • Ability to perform a physically demanding job loading and unloading moving waste bins to positions accessible by truck and closing all enclosure gates as necessary at times with no helpers.
  • Operates hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse operate compactor and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.
  • Clean portable toilets: carry and hold hose while pumping. Weight of hose is approximately 15lbs. Use sprayer to spray out the portable toilets.
  • Maneuver portable toilets on and off lift gate as well as for placement: using leveraging equipment when possible such as a dolly; Portable toilets weigh 185lbs.
  • Cleans up the area around accidental waste spills.
  • Completes daily reports on pre and post trip inspections of equipment;
  • Fuels vehicle daily
  • Maintains the physical appearance of the equipment including routine washing
  • Monitors over and under filled carts/containers to assess changing service requirements;
  • Monitors the condition and repair needs of existing carts/containers;
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures.
  • Courteousinteraction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

  • Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting pushing or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
  • Ability to mount and dismount the truck multiple times every day while on route.
  • Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.
  • The employee is exposed to outside weather including frequent wet and/or humid conditions as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL license with Air Break Manual and Tanker Endorsement.
  • Must pass criminal background check drug panel screening and have a clean motor vehicle report to be eligible for employment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Working knowledge of D.O.T. laws.
  • Ability to work a physically demanding job. Loading and unloading cans with no helpers.
  • Ability to read write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments in English.
