THE POSITION

• Enoggera Barracks
• General groundskeeper / handyperson duties (grounds and gardens maintenance laundry office and public spaces)
• Garden Care spray/whipper snipper/mowing
• Competent in operating general maintenance and grounds equipment and chemical handling
• Responding to service requests for building maintenance
• Specialised cleaning where required

THE PERSON

• Physically fit
• Local hire able to travel to Enoggera Barracks Monday to Friday
• Because this is a Defence Base we can only open this opportunity to Australian Citizens with a current drivers licence
• National Police Check prior to commencing employment
• A great work ethic and ability to learn
• General handyperson/ grounds work in hotel style accommodation would be highly advantageous
• Good communication skills with a flexible approach
• ACDC Ticket preferred
• Follow work safe procedures
