You will have an opportunity to directly impact the customer experience design architecture and implementation of products that will be used every day by people you know. Were looking for someone passionate about innovating on behalf of customers who demonstrates strong product ownership and is willing to think in new ways to solve difficult problems. Youll develop novel solutions to challenging technical problems driving key improvements in our web search capabilities. Youll perform rigorous research publishing papers in top IR conferences along the way.
Key job responsibilities Develop stateoftheart web search technology including training novel retrieval and ranking models scaling models and optimizing performance partnering with engineering to deploy and debug model performance in production and building and scaling quality training data sets.
3 years of building models for business application experience PhD or Masters degree and 4 years of CS CE ML or related field experience Experience programming in Java C Python or related language Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures parsing numerical optimization data mining parallel and distributed computing highperformance computing
Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application Experience in stateoftheart deep learning models architecture design and deep learning training and optimization and model pruning
