About The Role:The primary mission of this position is to assist the Asset Data Administrator Water Quality Planner/Project Manager IV) in the management and monitoring of millions of dollars in contracts working to deliver Strategic Asset Management work plan tasks. Additionally this position is responsible for quality control of asset registry data loading data into the asset registry and providing exceptional customer service through the data request portal.This position performs work remotely and onsite.
About The Team:The primary focus of the Asset Management team is to monitor asset related risk and work to employ mitigation strategies under guidance of the Strategic Asset Management Plan. Our team of energetic subject matter experts are involved with quality control of asset data conformance of capital projects with all asset management specifications management of the Enterprise Asset Management System (Maximo) database retrieval of asset data in support of capital projects managing the asset condition assessment program and providing input to the asset renewal forecast model supporting long and shortrange rate projections.Commitment to Equity Racial and Social Justice:King County named after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is a diverse and vibrant community that represents cultures from around the world. What You Will Be Doing:
- Assist in the management of a multibilliondollar asset registry including data loading data retrieval quality control accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Assist in effectively and efficiently applying advanced Asset Management industry standards and practices in the areas of program planning coordinating benefits management budget management schedule management monitoring/control and reporting on WTDs Asset Management Program and Strategic Asset Management Plan.
- Assist with procuring and administering consultant contracts and work orders. Support oversight of all contract negotiation and change order preparation and compliance monitoring.
- Support or participate on managementlevel boards as assigned including Asset Management Steering Committee (AMSC) and Lifecycle Management Program committee.
- Assist with tracking and monitoring all Strategic Asset Management Plan work plan tasks quarterly utilizing Power BI.
- Assist with complex research and analysis to provide expert advice for prioritizing asset management program goals and objectives ensuring the program maintains compliance with all relevant State and Federal laws and regulations including Washington Administrative Code Governmental Accounting Standards Board and Environmental Protection Agency asset management standards.

Qualifications You Bring:
- Knowledge and experience in the administration of an Enterprise Asset Management Program
- Knowledge and skill in managing an asset registry such as Maximo
- Knowledge of project management techniques and principles
- Skill in managing multiple programs simultaneously
- Knowledge of budgeting and ratemaking principles
- Knowledge of contracting and bidspecification procedures
- Skill in oral and written communications
- Demonstrated consistent accuracy in performance and attention to detail

Supplemental Information
Working Conditions:
- Remote and Onsite Work Details:Employees in this role work remotely from a home location with occasional onsite reporting requirements typically once per month. The frequency of onsite work is determined by business needs and may be adjusted accordingly. Onsite reporting locations may be at various King County worksites including the collaboration space at King Street Center 201 S. Jackson St Seattle WA 98104 and treatment plant facilities. This work arrangement promotes worklifebalance and reduces carbon footprint under the departments vision of Green Where We Work.
- Requirement:Employees must reside in Washington State and be within a reasonable distance to King County worksites to meet onsite reporting requirements.
- Work Schedule:This fulltime position works a 40hour work week. This position is exempt from the overtime provision of the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) and is not overtime eligible.
- Union Representation:This position is represented by The Technical Employees Association (TEA).
