Job Description
About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Data and Automation AnalystDeal Desk to join the Deal Desk Strategy and Programs team at Samsara. In this role youll lead data initiatives provide actionable insights and develop scalable solutions to optimize deal outcomes and drive business growth. You will own KPI reporting predictive modeling and workflow automation to optimize Deal Desk capacity. You will also collaborate crossfunctionally with our business partners to leverage these insights to support databased decision making and ultimately increase deal velocity.

In this role you will:
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards and realtime reporting tools.
- Automate Deal Desk workflows and build tools to enhance team productivity.
- Analyze deal trends identify success factors and provide databased insights to drive deal decisioning.
- Develop predictive models to forecast deal outcomes and assess risk.
- Define data governance strategies for pricing and deal data.
- Partner with Finance Sales Operations and Business Technology teams to align on data and automation priorities.
- Champion role model and embed Samsaras cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success Build for the Long Term Adopt a Growth Mindset Be Inclusive Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 5 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Tableau.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Prior experience designing and implementing automation solutions to streamline processes.
- Ability to distill critical insights from complex and unstructured data and deliver concise impactful insights to stakeholders.
- Track record of managing priorities and producing deliverables ontime with minimal supervision in a fastpaced environment.
An ideal candidate also has:
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Databricks
- Experience with Python or other programming languages for analytics
