The Defect Prevention and Reconciliation (DP&R) organization aims to build innovative technology products that identify resolve and prevent defects from entering Amazons fulfillment supply chain. We eliminate operational waste and reduce cost accelerating our fulfillment processes and improving customer experience. We are building a future where we capture analyze and explain every inventory defect across all stages of the supply chain (i.e. inbound distribution storage fulfillment returns).

Were seeking a experienced Senior Product Manager Tech to spearhead our missioncritical global initiative in Supply Chain Defects Identification.

This role sits at the intersection of customer experience seller success and operational excellence requiring a leader who can navigate complex challenges with clarity and purpose. As the singlethreaded owner of this highly visible program youll dive deep into the intricate world of inbound supply chain defects crafting innovative solutions that impact millions of customers and sellers globally. Your mission will be to transform complex supply chain challenges into elegant sellerfacing tools that drive efficiency and accuracy. Your journey will begin with understanding the pulse of our customers sellers and internal stakeholders.

Through the art of working backwards from customer needs youll architect a compelling vision that resonates across teams. This vision isnt just about solving todays problems its about anticipating tomorrows challenges and opportunities. In this role youll orchestrate collaboration across a diverse ecosystem of teams from tech and data science to finance and business units. Your ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders will be crucial as you guide products from conception to launch. Youll be the conductor of a complex symphony ensuring every team moves in harmony toward common goals.

Strategic thinking will be at the heart of your work. Youll identify longterm opportunities that others might miss translating these insights into actionable strategies and roadmaps. Your influence will extend across multiple product lines where youll guide teams through the full product lifecycle from initial ideation through experimentation and successful market launch. Success in this role requires masterful prioritization and decisionmaking skills. Youll navigate tradeoffs that impact various Amazon organizations maintaining clear communication channels and ensuring alignment with broader company objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving initiatives that enhance both customer experience and business value. Key job responsibilities
1. Define a datadriven product vision develop business cases requirements and prioritize competing opportunities.
2. Work directly with engineering to build exceptional products.
3. Partner with other teams across Amazon Product and Tech to identify and influence development of new products and services.
4. Understand customer (external and internal) needs define clear project plans and execute to high expectations in a fastpaced environment.
5. Interact with stakeholders at multiple levels and in multiple locations working with business operations tech and BI teams to define and deliver solutions.
6. Anticipate bottlenecks provide escalation management and make tradeoffs to balance business needs versus technical or operational constraints.
7. Collaborate with global stakeholders in other regions to define requirements that support international use cases.
8. Define user stories and product requirements; while contributing to the technical design of new product features.

BS or BA in computer science engineering math finance or economics
8 years of product management experience
Understanding of large and complex technical architecture
Ability to scope and collaborate on customer requirements
Ability to independently solve complex problems through research and analysis
Ability to communicate effectively and establish credibility with technical and nontechnical stakeholders including executive staff
Experience in managing and documenting business requirement documents and roadmaps
Knowledge of Six Sigma and iterative methodologies

Experience with conceptualizing complex interrelated applications and system platforms as well as the ability to communicate those systems to nontechnical team members and business partners
Entrepreneurial and inventive spirit with track record for delivering results in fastmoving and demanding environments
Strong relationships building skills; experience managing stakeholders and partners to drive cross functional programs
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups developers business owners and senior business leaders
Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprisescale software development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
