Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor who is ready to take ownership of large projects and assist the Chief Engineer with overseeing the maintenance team at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Jacksonville Baymeadows.
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field is REQUIRED.
- Experience leading a team of at least 3 employees.
- Experience in maintaining troubleshooting and/or repairing boilers chillers cooling towers fan coil units plumbing pool & spa etc.
- License(s) for the following areas Pool (CPO) plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.
- Ability to conduct hands on training and supervise the maintenance team.
- Service First mindset and sets the example of guest service for the team.
- Demonstrate an attitude of cooperation and helpfulness at all times and have vested interest in the success of the hotel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in team lifts as needed.
- Full flexibility to work on days nights weekends and holidaysas requested.
