Karralika Programs Inc has been supporting communities throughout the ACT and NSW for 45 years providing quality support and intervention services for families and individuals impacted by alcohol and other .
We employ a multidimensional approach to recovery supporting our clients to learn about themselves behaviorally cognitively and emotionally to achieve and sustain positive outcomes for life.
We now have opportunities available for Alcohol and Other Drug Workers to join the team on a fulltime and part time basis in Canberra in our Residential Therapeutic Community.

In addition to a competitive salary ranging from $69 000 $78 000* FTE per annum plus shift penalties plus superannuation the successful candidate will enjoy the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable adults and their families.
*salary range is indicative of base salary only and does not include penalty rates for evening and weekend shifts.
The role is defined as a shift work position and includes five weeks annual leave with leave loading plus one week public holiday leave in lieu of working rostered public holidays.

Karralika Programs is seeking fulltime Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) workers. Applications are sought from qualified and experienced workers who support the purpose and values of our organisation and who have relevant qualifications in AOD with mental health and other complex needs experience knowledge and skills.
Thie role provides support to people with significant AOD issues who are participating in residential treatment within the Karralika Therapeutic Community including Adult and Family Programs. The position will include evening and weekend shifts on roster and the position is offered fulltime.

You will have a minimum Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other or an equivalent qualification in other fields including mental health and childrens services and experience working with people with complex needs is required. Experience in working within and/or knowledge of the therapeutic community model is an advantage but not essential.
You will be required to provide a Current National Police Check and hold a Working with Vulnerable People clearance.
