Tidewater Inn is seeking a dedicated and customer focus Bellman to join our team! This position plays crucial role in providing expectational service to our guests. ensuring their arrival and departure experience are seamless and enjoyable. The Bellman is responsible to collect and distribute posts and parcels and assist with general inquiries and ensuring the lobby and forecourt areas are always clean and tidy. Responsibilities

• Check the daily arrival list of VIPs or guests with special requests.
• Be Present at the front door or in the lobby to be ready to assist guests colleagues and visitors when requested.
• Ensure collection and delivery of guests luggage and equipment in an efficient and timely manner.
• Tag baggage and return the identification slips to guests.
• Escort guests to room and place luggage in room assigned by the front desk.
• Inspect guests room for order and adequate supplies and informs guest of room amenities.
• Deliver faxes messages packages and flowers to guests room and to offices.
• Provide items on loan to guest and collect the items back from guest before departure.
• Ensure safe storage of guests personal items.
• Assist guests with luggage storage request.
• Transport departing guests luggage from the room to the lobby then to car/taxi after reconfirming with guest.
• Respond to guest requests and queries providing a knowledgeable efficient and helpful information service.
• Assist with answering the phone and taking messages transferring calls and assisting with enquiries.
• Open doors for guests when they arrive/leave the hotel.
• Other duties assigned.

Compensation

• $16.00 and hour.
• Nonexempt variable parttime position.
