Bellman

To provide prompt courteous service to guests and familiarize all incoming guests to the Lodge. Establish high standards of conduct to maintain a professional image to our guests. Must be able to stand and walk for extended period of times and lift at least have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Essential Functions:

• Welcome guests sincerely and make their stay as enjoyable as possible. Effectively and seriously respond and deal with the guests needs and requests
• Be fully aware of daily functions in the hotel. Knowledgeable of surrounding areas attractions and points of interests
• Assist guests at check-in and checkout. Tag store and distribute baggage
• Orient guests to the Lodge and facilities
• Show rooms and property to visitors
• Delivery of items such as faxes messages packages and flowers to the rooms as needed
• Maintain fires in the fireplaces in the main entrance and main lobby
• Provide ski and weather information
• Maintain a clean neat and professional work area(including bell stand room 11 and entire front entrance in the garage)
• Have working knowledge of PBX console and procedures
• Respond to all emergency situations and know all the safety and emergency procedures and how to act upon them
• Be able to quote basic history of the Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley and Park City
• Demonstrate an outgoing and pleasant attitude with all the guests and employees
• Take all necessary measures to help the guests and fellow employees

Education Experience and skills required:

Ability to work flexible hours (days evenings weekends and holidays)

Valid Utah Drivers License

At least 21 years old for insurance purposes
