Job Description

IT Coordinator
The IT Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and system administration within the organization. This role involves managing helpdesk operations overseeing user life cycle processes and handling the equipment life cycle. The IT Coordinator will also administer and support Microsoft 365 applications manage SharePoint sites and permissions and oversee Azure services to ensure seamless integration and functionality. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining the security and integrity of IT infrastructure while delivering exceptional service to endusers.

Essential Functions
  • Helpdesk Support
    • Provides timely and effective technical assistance to endusers
    • Resolves hardware software and network issues
    • Trains endusers to use equipment issued by Iris
  • User Life Cycle
    • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes
    • Account creation
    • Access Management
    • User Training
  • Equipment Life Cycle Management
    • Manage procurement deployment maintenance and disposal of IT equipment
    • Ensure optimal performance and compliance with Iris policies
  • M365 SharePoint Azure Management
    • Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications
    • Manage SharePoint sites and permissions
    • Oversees Azure services to ensure seamless integration and functionality
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Demands
  • Requires sitting bending stooping crawling and stretching
  • Requires the ability to operate computers and multifunction devices
  • Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record prepare and communicate appropriate reports
  • Requires ability to work under stressful conditions
  • Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds above the head
  • Requires ability to work for extended periods of time at a computer
  • Requires ability to move and install computer equipment
  • Requires a high level of problemsolving and logical thinking
Expected Hours of Work
  • Some flexibility in hours is allowed but the employee must be available between the core work hours of 8a.m. to 8p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain fulltime status.
Required Education
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years experience in information systems environment.
Preferred Education and experience
  • Associate Degree in IT or closely related field.
