Job Description
Overview
The Project Management Intern will support the Information Technology Project Management Office by providing administrative tool and process support to the PMO. Under the general direction of portfolio managers applicants can expect to partner with those in the PMO to review data quality and provide reporting of the IT portfolio of projects. This position will utilize the Microsoft suite of tools to manage project requests and generate adhoc data and scheduled reports for IT leadership. Additionally this position will assist with internal PMO projects ensuring PMO tools support data transparency and reliability.
Location: Remote Applicants preferrably reside in the UnityPoint Health geographical areas of Iowa Illinois or Wisconsin
Hours: Up to 40 hours/week flexible schedule

What are team member vaccine requirements

Responsibilities
Portfolio/Program/Project Development
- Provide administrative support for MS Project Online
- Perform data entry support to Portfolio Analysts and Portfolio Managers
- Support data quality efforts to ensure data accuracy and transparency
- Support project schedule management and reporting of projects ran by IT Managers and Staff that do not require a dedicated project manager assignment
- Assist portfolio analysts with the development and configuration of new projects supporting the IT Portfolio of work
- Assist with the management and develop of MS SharePoint project workspaces/document repositories
- Assist with the development and configuration of the MS Project Web app supporting IT projects and staff
Portfolio Reporting Prioritization
- Provide support to portfolio analysts in the development of portfolio dashboards and workplans supporting IT portfolio management
- Assist portfolio analysts with the development of reports metrics and adhoc data requests.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Health Science Project Management or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel PPT Word SharePoint and Project
- Strong listening verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and documentation
- Strong organizational multitasking and prioritizing skills
- Proficient analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
