Job Description
Summary:
Flowserve is looking for a Machine Operator Deburr/Grind) at our manufacturing facility in Taneytown MD. The individual will perform a variety of tasks within our Burr and Balance department including precision tool grinding the use of overhead jib cranes and inspection equipment. Shift: 2nd shift (MondayThursday 3:30pm 2:00 am)
Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand tools to deburr cut and polish parts
- Operate overhead and jib cranes to lift and move heavy parts
- Will be required to work in other areas of department when needed
- Will use hand tools air tools die grinders and hand drills
- Responsible for accurate completion of certification reports
- Adhere to all Safety Procedures & Policy. Complete all Pure Safety and other safety training as required
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a teamoriented and CIP environment
- Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions
- Basic shop math skills
- Able to stand for long periods repetitive arm motions frequent lifting with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime as required
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in using pneumatic air tools.
The pay range for this position is 19.34 28.98 USD Hourly
