Job Description

As Customer Service Specialist you will be responsible for our Automotive clients you will manage Selfbilling activities including EDI and manual selfbilling connections to ensure that are processed on time in consistent way and troubleshoot possible issues with Customers.

You will be the key link between the Customer PPG Customer Service Team Credit organization and SBU Finance.

You will manage all related elements to selfbilling processes including technical errors and issue resolution.

In addition to main duties you will also support Customer Master Data Cash Application team Credit management audits and other administrative/supporting activities as required.

Key responsibilities:

SelfBilling EDI

  • AR interface error handling
  • Check EDI invoice with Sales order
  • Invoice import to AR
  • Creation of internal PPG invoice
  • Run reconciliation between price lists orders and invoices
  • Communicate and report discrepancies and open selfbilling lines to the commercial analysts

SelfBilling Manual

  • AR interface error handling
  • Enter invoice data to Interface
  • Check invoice with Sales order
  • Invoice import to AR
  • Creation of internal PPG invoice
  • Run reconciliation between price lists orders and invoices
  • Communicate and report discrepancies and open selfbilling lines to the commercial analysts

Other support

  • Communication within various PPG departments
  • Communication with customer and working at customer portal
  • Acting as key contact for SOX and PWC audits
  • Ad hoc requests per customer or business needs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years working for finance or customer service teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong responsibility and organizational skills
  • Fluent English and German (B2 level min.
  • Must be quick learner with new IT Tools including ERPs (Oracle R12 preference Navision is advantage and MS Office tools essential)
  • Autonomy and team work approach is appreciated
  • Experience in a complex matrix and international organization
