Job Overview
This juniorlevel fulltime position in Supply Chain Management is based in Ahmedabad. Ideal candidates will have 0 to 1 year of experience and will be responsible for optimizing supply chain processes. This role demands proficiency in key supply chain management tools and methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Familiarity with SAP ERP systems for effective resource planning and operational integration.
- Understanding of Oracle SCM Cloud for managing enterprise supply chain activities efficiently.
- Basic skills in demand planning to anticipate and prepare for future market needs.
- Ability in inventory optimization to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce wastage.
- Experience in supplier relationship management to secure advantageous supplier contracts and agreements.
- Knowledge in logistics management to streamline and coordinate the movement of goods.
- Capacity to develop risk mitigation strategies to foresee potential disruptions and implement preventive actions.
- Strong analytical skills in Excel data analysis for effective decisionmaking and reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support senior team members in planning and optimizing supply chain strategies to enhance overall efficiency.
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations utilizing key SCM tools.
- Execute daily logistical operations to ensure smooth delivery and supply of products.
- Maintain accurate data and reports regarding inventory demand forecasts and supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely procurement and distribution.
- Identify potential risks within the supply chain and propose actionable solutions.
- Contribute to improvement projects focusing on process standardization and best practices in supply chain management.
- Adhere to compliance requirements and industry regulations while managing supply chain activities.
