In this role you will be responsible for coding testing and delivering high quality deliverables and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a strong business intelligence developer to join our Risk & Information Management Technology team and help deliver key initiatives.
The applicant should be a solid business intelligence developer using Tableau and IBM Cognos delivering high performing reports analytics and dashboards.
The applicant should interact directly with internal business clients to understand their reporting analytics & data needs design business intelligence solutions and work with other members on the team (data modelers report authors ETL developers data analysts etc. on the implementation of such solutions.
Prior experience in finance or risk management operations will be useful however the ability and willingness to quickly master new technical and business concepts will be considered.
Work closely with application teams to understand their needs to improve our systems

Minimum Qualifications
BE/B Tech/MCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Experience in reports development using industry leading business intelligence reporting and dashboarding tools primarily IBM Cognos and Tableau
Expertise in capturing and reviewing queries generated by the report building tools evaluate the same for optimizations by running them directly against the source databases using SQL client tools.
A strong understanding of Report modelling using IBM Cognos Framework Manager or Tableau including the design of DMR and business user friendly models.
Experience with the performance testing of reports and the ability to quickly find and resolve performance issues.
Strong understanding of advanced data warehouse concepts (Fact less Fact Tables Temporal BITemporal models etc.
Handson experience in the Linux Unix version management with git and job schedulers with practical experiencing of using the same during development.
Strong SQL and PLSQL/python programming skills (preferably DB2
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Should be able to troubleshoot and optimize take ownership and accountability in handling endtoend SDLC development cycles.
Raise to agile based needs and fill in related roles like business intelligence administration and production support tasks.
Building reports analytics and dashboards using Tableau and Microsoft Power BI
Should be able to write XQuery and SPARQL against unstructured /semistructured data sources like Marklogic a plus.
Building ETL pipelines against XML JSON data and Flat file data using ETL Tools such as Alteryx InformaticaDatabase development using medium to advanced level SQL towards building optimized data sets for efficient BI reporting.
