Job Description

Compensation: $21.69 / hour

Essential Duties/Core Competencies:

  • Greets all guests at the Players Club.
  • Processes Players Club applications.
  • Distributes rewards to Players Club members as indicated.
  • Provides feedback to marketing department on specific issues as they relate to the club and to the guests.
  • Provides assistance in of promotions programs and drawings as requested by supervisory staff.
  • Receives direction from marketing department and effectively communicate to guest.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
  • Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to guests colleagues and the Company by being engaged interested and productive.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the impact actions and decisions have on the Company both financially and on customer relations.
  • Demonstrates the courage creativeness and initiative to present new ideas and perspectives to create positive results.
  • Must always be respectful and considerate of all viewpoints situations.
  • Puts the guest at the forefront of every decision.
  • Ability to understand player system requirements.
  • Inspire confidence by exhibiting business acumen good judgement and the ability to view the big picture demands of the company.

  • Strong interpersonal and guest service skills.
  • Ability to work with/for multiple employees.

Work/Educational Experience:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • One 1 years experience in guest service.
  • Knowledge of marketing program and/or ability to learn.
  • Knowledge of computer systems.
  • Knowledge of promotional system set up and/or ability to learn.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate gaming license through to the New York State Lottery.

Physical and Mental Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand walk sit and use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to sit climb or balance and stoop stretch bend kneel crouch or crawl.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least twentyfive 25 pounds and varied instances of standing/walking.

Language Skills:

Ability to read analyze and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals maintenance instructions and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in oneonone and group situations.

Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimal and work with mathematical such as probability and inference. Ability to create read and analyze spread sheets of statistical data. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.

  • The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. When on the property or some back of house areas the noise level increases to loud. Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
  • Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
