Job Description

Hiring Opportunity: Columbus OH

Our client is looking to hire a Maintenance Planner to their team! They are a world leading automotive supplier for steel and aluminum components and one of the largest growing companies in Central Ohio.

The main role of the Maintenance Planner will be to support completion of projects on time and within budget while continuing to expand the effectiveness of the Maintenance organization by reducing unexpected downtime.

Ideal candidates will need to have experience with Maintenance Planning to include experience with failure analysis scheduling and experience with CMMS/data tracking software.


Responsibilities:

Manage the plant and machine TPM programs.
Maintain reports to track overall health of the Maintenance department (KPIs Utilization/Downtime failure analysis etc.
Collaborate with the other Maintenance members to assist with planning/scheduling and improvement initiatives.
Drive improvement of equipment using Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
Utilize available CMMS and data tracking software to track all Maintenance activities and screen data for improvement initiatives.
Leads root cause analyses and FMEAs as appropriate. Develops recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
Develops and improves plant drawings standards and work instructions especially those pertaining to equipment maintenance.
Coordinates work performed by outside contractors vendors technical consultants.
Maintains critical equipment lists for all critical production equipment.


Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. (preferred)
3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Demonstrated understanding of failure analysis
Demonstrated ability in continuous improvement
Budgeting skills necessary to cost effectively manage contractors and internal projects
Familiarity with managing plant equipment using a computerbased maintenance management system
Capable of reading/interpreting mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic prints/schematics
Ability to make progress on multiple concurrent tasks
Good problem solving skills and attention to quality/detail
Understanding and adherence to all safety regulations related to the plant.
