The Planners role is to develop and maintain production schedules to ensure the delivery of goods and services to customers.
This position reports to the Manager Planning and Data Management. It is part of the Planning department located in Burnaby BC Canada and will be an onsite role.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services
- Coordinate with Service Manufacturing Controls Engineering and Warehouse & Logistics to plan and adjust schedules as needed
- Monitor measure and report on performance at Daily Management meetings
- Identify any potential delays or challenges in the planning process and apply problemsolving methods to resolve and execute
- Coordinate with Sales Operations Procurement Distribution Planning and Logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and the delivery of finished goods
Who you are:
- Postsecondary education in supply chain operations business management or equivalent work experience is an asset
- 3 years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3 years experience working with ERP systems with a thorough understanding of core supply chain fundamentals
- Strong knowledge in project planning & scheduling concepts terminology and methodologies
- Proven capacity to create and maintain complex schedules in a manufacturing environment
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Applying Danaher Business Systems (DBS) tools or continuous improvement methodologies in a manufacturing environment
- Working towards or holds a professional supply chain certification (ASCM APICS SCMP)
The salary range for this role is CAD $68000 CAD $80000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
