Job Description
- Plan negotiations define awarding strategy and prepare sourcing board approvals respecting the suppliers defined by the commodity strategy to enable pooling potential.
- Negotiate local regional or multisite contracts in conjunction with relevant procurement managers or independently. This includes negotiating prices delivery schedules and payment terms among other specifics.
- Manage the relationship with assigned suppliers (in alignment with CM/GCM when applicable).
- Generates documents and implement savings measures; monitor and reports relevant KPIs.
- Identify procurement risks and opportunities and implement respective measures.
- Implement Commodity Strategies and define local/regional material field strategy for nonpooled commodities and Portfolios/PCCs Strategies.
Job Requirement
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing/commodity management.
- Must be Fluent in English.
- Experience working in a complex global organizational environment with a strong understanding of component manufacturing processes and quality (or Direct Procurement).
- Outstanding Excel skills coupled with excellent commercial contractual and project management competence.
- Strong communication presentation and customer management skills with experience working in a matrix environment and managing global supplier relationships.
