Get covered Illinois is currently seeking a marketplace digital content administrator to take responsibility for developing and implementing strategies and work plans for digital communications and marketing efforts that educate the public about the benefits of GCI specifically social media and video production. This position will also provide strategic planning and implementation for GCIs media relations activities. Get Covered Illinois is the State of Illinoiss new Health Insurance Marketplace. Get Covered Illinoiss mission is to increase access enrollment affordability and choice for individuals and families by connecting them to health insurance plans and savings available through the Affordable Care Act. Get Covered Illinois provides pathways to coverage through a consumercentric online application platform a Customer Assistance Center localized outreach and education strategies and a network of inperson assisters embedded in communities across the state that help Illinoisans enroll in the coverage that best meets their families needs. Get Covered Illinois is part of the Illinois Department of Insurance and has offices in Chicago and Springfield.

Prefers prior experience equivalent to two 2 years successfully working with the press including pitching stories to the press responding to press inquiries providing ontherecord comments and building and sustaining positive relationships with local media.
Prefers prior experience equivalent to two 2 years developing and implementing datadriven strategy and engaging content for digital media platforms including but not limited to websites social media like Facebook X Instagram LinkedIn and emails/newsletters.
Prefers three 3 years of experience overseeing communications for a company organization or similar experience at a news media organization including experience developing strategic communication plans.
Prefers three 3 years of experience successfully developing reviewing and revising reports press releases presentation and marketing materials.
Prefers strong writing editing and communication skills.
Prefers intermediate graphic design and video production and editing skills.
Prefers three 3 years of experience working with customer relationship management software and other email and marketing tools.
Prefers experience working with and communicating to multilingual diverse communities.
Prefers knowledge of health care field and experience in health care or health insurance.

The Department of Insurance (DOI) regulates the insurance market in the State of Illinois including but not limited to licensing and educating insurance agents investigating Workers Compensation fraud and examining the operations and finances of insurance companies domiciled in the state.
