Senior Technical Program Manager - Data Center Engineering Global Integrated Facilities Team

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.

Key job responsibilities
Engage with internal and external Amazon customers and support teams to gain insights and capture critical mechanical electrical and utility needs for the business today and in the future
Utilize those insights to identify specific program requirements create a program vision and own the product development roadmap for critical segments of the data center physical infrastructure
Coordinate between multiple teams to develop compelling business cases to substantiate business value define product prioritization and outline budget and resources required to implement product roadmaps
Drive continuous advancements and improvements within our data center designs and communicate technical solutions to Senior Management
Own and drive the complete product lifecycle from idea conception through implementation and wide scale deployment to eventual deprecation
Develop product features and deployment strategies to improve performance reliability sustainability and efficiency of new applications and use cases
Communicate complex issues clearly and effectively to leadership to propose solutions and fully inform risk decisions
Work independently in a highperforming environment with all levels of leadership and exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist

5 years of technical product or program management experience
5 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Current active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

7 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
7 years of technical product or program management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Masters Degree
Current active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
