L3Harris is seeking an experienced Field Engineer RC135 Aircraft/Airframe Systems to join our team at RAF Waddington Lincoln United Kingdom. In this role you will provide advanced airframe/structural maintenance and sustainment the Royal Air Forces RC135 aircraft.

What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Perform RC135 airframe systems and structural maintenance
- Conduct pre and postflight inspections aircraft launch and recovery
- Operate and maintain airframe sheet metal hydraulics fuel engine environmental flight controls and associated systems
- Will oversee maintenance activities and ensure accurate documentation completion
What youll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
- Ability to obtain UK DV Clearance (or equivalent) within the first year
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and minimum of 0 years of relevant experience OR 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Degree
- Qualified to sustain the RC/KC135 airframe and subsystems within the last 5 years
- Work various shifts depending upon customer mission requirements
- Worldwide deployable with travel up to 40 of the time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. up to 5 of the time and climb ladders daily
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with C135 hydraulic fuel systems/inflight refueling bleed air engines oxygen and flight control systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical data and engineering documents
- Corrosion control identification repair and prevention experience
- Possess United Kingdom Aircraft Maintenance license or equivalent
