We are currently seeking a full-time Localization Engineer based in Europe (remote or on-site in Poznan).
Unlock your potential and actively shape our technological processes and strategic decisions. As our Engineering wizard you build a bridge between translation and technology by ensuring smooth operation of our translation tools and processes. You are dealing with internal and external clients so teamwork and a customer-centric mindset are essential to your role.
Tasks
- Preparing documents and files for translation and for delivery
- Testing and configuring CAT tools
- Developing scripts & tools for ENG automation
- Developing workflows for new and existing clients
- Collaborating with IT MT and Software Development on overlapping tasks
- Acting as internal CAT tools administrator and support
- Acting as an escalation point for project related technical difficulties
- Documenting workflows on the intranet and keeping ENG section updated
- Cooperating on keeping language assets clean according to customer requirements
Requirements
- You have working experience in the Localization industry as a Localization Engineer or similar position
- You are experienced in an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java) and regular expressions
- You have working experience with or a strong interest in AI technologies and APIs to enhance automation and efficiency in localization processes
- Additional knowledge in Machine Translation technologies and TMS (Translation Management Systems) is a plus
- You are a team player and strong communicator and happy to share knowledge with your team
- You have a pragmatic and goal-oriented approach to work and love tackling complex problems
- You are proficient in English some German would be of advantage
